The Medicine of Being in the Forest
Bringing nature to workplace well-being, team wellness retreats & continuing education
Forest Bathing, also called shinrin-yoku or forest therapy, is a rapidly-growing, research-based way of supporting health, happiness, and well-being. Some think of it as Mindfulness in Nature however the practice is also about reacquainting ourselves with our own sense of belonging and our relationships with nature, whatever that may look like for each of us as individuals. Award-winning author, Nadine Mazzola offers a variety of Forest Bathing/Forest Therapy programs such as walks, talks and half-day retreats. New England Nature & Forest Therapy Consulting (NENFT) also provides workshops for organizations and their staff, combining an experiential forest bathing session and a talk on the benefits and uses of forest bathing as a health and wellness tool to reduce stress.
Join us for a shinrin-yoku walk--find out what it's all about. Shinrin-yoku is unlike any nature walk you have experience before.
