Join Nadine for a chance to experience and learn about the popular practice of forest bathing. Why is forest bathing more than just a walk in the woods? Participants will have a chance to experience some forest bathing invitations guided by Nadine followed by a shinrin-yoku tea served outdoors, and conclude the second hour with a discussion on forest bathing. Guided forest bathing consists of a series of gentle activities (invitations) that allow participants to use their 5-senses to engage with nature. This is wellness naturally–more than a walk in the woods. It has the health benefits of mindfulness and supports the immune system and variable heart rate. This is not a physically demanding class. Class activities are low-impact and slow-paced and cover short distances. Bedford meeting location to be announced a week before the program. (min 4/max 15)
