Shinrin Yoku is a term that means 'taking in the forest atmosphere' or 'forest bathing.' It is unlike any nature walk you have experienced before. This is a very relaxed, slow, and mindful way of walking that reconnects us with our senses and the living world of nature. It's fun, easy and relaxing! We will take a leisurely stroll of about a mile on some of the library grounds, the nearby park and the Nashua River Rail Trail with stops along the way where we will gather and sit. ( We will have light-weight portable stools that you may use if you so choose.) We will focus on our senses to develop an immediate connection with the forest and land. The walk should last about three hours and we will finish with a Shinrin Yoku tea and a small snack.
